Yusaf Mack

Yusaf Mack is playing the role of boxer and sparring partner, Alex.

Growing up in the rural part of West Philadelphia, Yusaf resisted the lure of the streets and focused on a more positive and productive future for himself. He chose the route of boxing. Yusaf started training at the neighborhood boxing gym, Shuler's Memorial Gym, which was owned by his father's best friend, Percy "Buster" Custus. Under Buster's tutelage, Yusaf began his intense and disciplined training. Yusaf had an impressive record (40-7) as an amateur. In December 2001, he turned professional, winning many titles including the USBA Super Middleweight Championship and the UBA Light Heavyweight World Championship.
