Christy Martin     

Christy Martin is playing the role of IFBA Champion, Marcia Knight.

Christy got her start in boxing as a dare in college when she entered a Toughwoman contest. She won, and that's when she started taking boxing seriously. She turned pro a few years later. Christy has fought in several weight classes, including Lightweight (135), Jr. Welterweight (140), and Welterweight (147). As a Middleweight, Christy fought Laila Ali. Christy's nickname, "The Coalmire's Daughter", has done wonders for the sport of boxing and females. In fact, Christy was one of only a few women to sign a deal with Don King during the late 90's which was a historic moment at the time.
